If you follow this blog you may remember the glass of wine and sunset I shared with past clients a week or so ago. Yesterday I spent a breezy, sunny Saturday hiking along the Colorado River as we toured their portfolio of riverfront properties. I had to pinch myself to remind me I was working!
Needles CA Land and Investment Property
With pen in hand I took notes and my son snapped photos as we either walked or rode to a variety of properties. We began with a riverfront vacation cottage, moved on to a family compound with a main house with several private suites, and a riverfront beach shack in the middle of a romantic transformation.
Next, we drove a few blocks (actually, it was down a dusty road), tuned onto a dirt road and drove across a beautiful flat 13 acre site with Colorado River frontage. From there we maneuvered our way down a rocky slope (thank heavens I was wearing my New Balance shoes) and walked along the water's edge until we arrived at their riverfront inn and RV park.
After a tour of the inn (my favorite spot was the double-decker deck with a panoramic view of the river and million dollar homes on the Arizona side of the Colorado River), we took a tour of the surrounding area, picked up real estate magazines and viewed other riverfront properties. Oh, there's a new casino coming to the area in the near future which will create jobs, increase the vacation appeal and demand for housing.
As we drove away the mountains were aglow with the light and shadows of a desert sunset almost too beautiful for words. I glanced at the now bulging file and knew my work had just begun, but what a beautiful beginning.
Photos and property information will follow as I embark on this real estate protfolio manager adventure!

I have days like that being a Hawaii real estate agent. There is a benefit to selling homes in a beautiful place.
Dinah - Yes, those are the days we congratulate ourselves for choosing a career in real estate.

Glad you're back from wherever or whatever took you away!
