The Eastview community of Rancho Palos Verdes was formerly part of Los Angeles and is still a part of Los Angeles Unified School District. However, since the residents now reside in the city of Rancho Palos Verdes they have the option of selecting either LAUSD or Palos Verdes Unifed School District.
Many of the homes in the Eastview neighborhood have spectacular views of the Los Angeles Harbor and the Vincent Thomas Bridge. Several of the streets are lined with Jacaranda trees and offer the residents a beautiful sight to behold in May and June.

In 2007 55 homes sold in the Eastview community priced from $548,900 to $1,130,000.
