One of the best ways to get acquainted with an area is via fabulous photos. I can't promise I'll post a new photo each day, but when I'm out and about on "The Hill" I'll snap a few photos and select a few that reveal and reflect what life in Palos Verdes is all about.

This photo was taken at Trump National Golf Course. It is one of my favorite places to hike on the Palos Verdes Peninsula. There are miles of trails hugging the bluffs high above the Pacific Ocean.
Today's weather reminded me of my trip to Ireland last year--even the heavy clouds could not hide the natural beauty.
This photo is proof the sun does not always shine in LA.
Hot Real Estate Tip of the Day:
The hot real estate news for today is 53 Margurite Drive is back on the market. I showed it last year when it was listed for just under $12M. Today it hit the MLS hotsheet with a new leaner price of $9,888,000. I love the location--ocean front--and the prestigious street is lined with the finest luxury homes in Rancho Palos Verdes. If you want to hear the waves crashing and feel the ocean mist on your face, this is the place to be!

I can't help but snap a picture of our beautiful scenery almost every day. I like the real estate tip of the day too! Nicely done!
Yvonne - Yes, even as gray as today was, I stopped several times and snapped a photo with my iPhone. It's not your typical Southern California photo but I like a cloudy day every now and then.
The photo is great! Thanks for sharing.... You are right, the sun doesn't have to be shining to be a beautiful day.
David - So true--cloudy can be beautiful too.
Norma- I see this and it makes me want to grab a book, throw and cup of coffee and kick back.
Kathy - I know--nothng like a good old gray day to make me light a fire and snuggle up with a great book.
Norma: It's amazing how beautiful the ocean views are in any weather, lovely photo that you took of your beautiful area!
Hi Norma, I can just feel being inside that photo. Well done and our coast is so totally amazing!
Ah, the beautiful California coast! We are so spoiled here! Great views, cloudy or sunny, from one end of the State to the other!
This is the weirdest weather we are having. I don't ever remember so much rain in So. Cal.
Jane - I actually enjoy walking when the weather is offering up something other than sunshine. I had the trails to myself (almost) and the salty dampness in the air was refreshing.
William - I love it when a photo envelopes us and engages senses other than sight. Thank you for the compliment.
Ed - Yes, that view looks good in any weather.
Jane - I know, I keep my slicker by the front door and my big Bel Air Hotel umbrella in the car. Just heard more rain is on the way for the weekend.
