Homes under $1,000,000 in Palos Verdes are considered entry level homes. New Palos Verdes residents are often move up buyers and aspire to move to the Palos Verdes Peninsula for a host of reasons such as the coastal location, large lots, open space, stunning views and last but not least the award winning school system.
How's the Palos Verdes real estate market? I'm glad you asked. Inventory is very low, and the demand for homes priced under $1M is high. If you're in the market to buy a home priced under $1,000.000 in Palos Verdes, it would be a good idea to begin your search sooner rather than later. It can take months to find the right house, and remember, many other buyers are comparison shopping too.

Hi
I live in Yountville in the Napa Valley and entry level homes here are not as pricy but high but still I get sticker shock from several people traveling here when the stop by the office to inquire on property. I know prices here are what they are but your title caught my eye. Hopefully it will attract a couple of buyers for you.
Curtis - I love Yountville and the Napa Valley, and yes, California house prices have declined but compared to much of the nation they are still on the high side.
Wow, Norma, you certainly operate in an upscale market, that's for sure. Entry level homes here are in the $150,000 range.
Great post. I know people love your area and under a million makes it obtainable to some that would like to have slice of your pie.
Malcolm: Yes, the Palos Verdes Peninsula is an upscale area. I think the median price is around $1,700,000 for single family homes.
Kim - You're right--the turnover in homes priced under $1M is fairly brisk.
