Many of the buildings appear to have withstood centuries past with their graceful arches and red tile roofs although the area was developed in the early 1900s. Old Spanish style homes dot the hillsides overlooking the Queen's Necklace view of the Pacific Ocean and the Beach Cities of Hermosa, Manhattan and Redondo.
