Norma, I love your photos! I didn't realize the Colorado flowed through California, but I guess it does!
Pat - Yes, the Colorado River separates AZ and CA in the Needles area. I hope to take some photos over Labor Day when the river will be raging with lots of activity! Believe me, it's not always this quiet and calm.
Norma.....Your river pictures are great. The Colorado River is beautiful there. We used to bring our boat up the river from Lake Havasu to the Topock area and always had a wonderful time.
Wow, this area reminds me of some of the land in West Texas near resovoirs created along rivers passint through the state, beautiful water surrounded by a somewaht stark landscape. Very nice but at 4.5M must be worth it!

Norma - great listing and great opportunities. I love the river although it has been a while since I have been there.
Russell - It is located very close to a popular resort on the river and Topock Gorge is another popular destinatio on the Colorado River.
Sharon - The Colorado River has become the new Cabo--it's closer and cheaper--both earn big points during a recession!
