The thermometer says it is hot outdoors this week, and apparently so is Toering & Team. It may be the dog days of summer but the sizzle is back in the local real estate market, at least in my office this week. 
Over the weekend we listed 93 acres on the California side of the Colorado River near Needles, CA. OK, this did not happen overnight--I've been communicating with the sellers for over one year. What caused them to finally pull the listing trigger and select Norma Toering & Team? They loved my Internet presence--from the website to the blogs about my other Colorado River listings. They know their property will have a top-notch website and they know prospective buyers will be able to find it.
Another new listing will hit the local MLS this Friday. Four months ago a previous client called and said a relative would soon be listing a property in Rancho Palos Verdes. Yesterday, they selected an agent; Norma Toering & Team was chosen based on past performance and Internet marketing skills.
A prospective buyer from Colorado found me on the Internet a few months ago and we're now ready to make an offer on a Southern California condo. The list goes on...I like the "heat" and I'm staying in the real estate "kitchen." I think I'll see what else I can stir up along with the help of my Internet presence, Active Rain blog and a strong work ethic.

Norma.....Congratulations on your successes! I agree the kitchen is pretty hot in the Needles, CA area. We used to drive through there nearly everyday, and can say it is darn hot there this time of year.
