My most recent lead came from a guest at Terranea, the fabulous resort located in Rancho Palos Verdes, after she Googled the area and found a video Norma Toering & Team posted several months ago. The lead before her came from a direct mailer to past clients and the one before that came from a sign call. My leads come from a variety of sources, and it has been that way since my start in real estate in 1992. However, the leads from blogging and my website are beginning to tip the balance in their favor.
Last week more than 50% of leads generated were a direct result of Active Rain or my website. On the other hand, an article I wrote for the local home guide did not generate a single contact. Hmmm, guess I know where to concentrate the bulk of my writing energy and marketing efforts. Consumers are finding my listings online more frequently than they are finding the signs on the lawns or ads in printed media.

Norma, I have always had my leads come from a wide variety or avenues but I have to admit my website tipped the balance quite some time ago and blogging has only increased that tip!
Marachel - Past clients have always been my number one source, but I think 2010 may have a different leader.
You're effective, and know your stuff....it's a no brainer that anyone looking to buy or sell in Palos Verdes would call you for professional representation. Kudos to you and I hope "the team" is going strong!

Norma....I think leads come from every direction but having a stong web presence today is a must. It sounds like you are tracking your leads and can zero in on the most effective efforts.
