California's Palos Verdes Peninsula enjoys a Mediterranean climate much the same as Italy's and when I was on the Island of Capri a few years ago I could not help but notice the similarities. The balmy weather, miles of coastline and yes, even the hilly landscape resembles Palos Verdes.

Norma Toering's Malaga Cove Home Sales Report April 2011 Palos Verdes Estates, CA

Malaga Cove Plaza

There is something so "Old World" about the Malaga Cove neighborhood in Palos Verdes Estates. Many of the buildings appear to have withstood centuries past with their graceful arches and red tile roofs although the area was developed in the early 1900s. Old Spanish style homes dot the hillsides overlooking the Queen's Necklace view of the Pacific Ocean and the Beach Cities of Hermosa, Manhattan and Redondo.

Malaga Cove Plaza is home to restaurants, shops, markets and several real estate offices! It is located just minutes from the beach and the shopping and dining areas of the Hollywood Riviera. It's a quaint and convenient place to live on the Palos Verdes Peninsula.
